Max’s story was a theatre and documentary project following the story of Max Cunningham from Marion Bay Oysters Tasmania, who had lost everything during bush fires in 2013. Every detail of his life was carefully researched, documented and faithfully re-created on stage. Max was then invited to the show at Tasmania’s Palais Theatre, completely unaware that he was the star.
